Description
The Analog Devices AD7328BRUZ is a 12-bit, 8-channel successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for applications requiring high channel density and low power consumption. The device operates from a single +2.7 V to +3.6 V power supply and features a flexible input multiplexer, which allows any combination of 8 single-ended or 4 differential input channels to be selected. The AD7328BRUZ provides a maximum sample rate of 1 MSPS and offers high linearity (±1 LSB DNL, ±3 LSB INL) with low power consumption (2.3 mW at 1 MSPS).
In addition to the standard features, the AD7328BRUZ includes an internal reference voltage, an on-chip oscillator, an SPI-compatible serial interface, and a power-down mode to minimize power consumption when the device is not in use. The device also includes a flexible input range, which can be programmed via the serial interface to accept inputs from ±128 mV to ±2.5 V, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial, medical, and instrumentation applications. The AD7328BRUZ is available in a 16-lead TSSOP package and operates over the ambient temperature range of -40°C to +105°C
