Description
The Analog Devices AD7687BRMZ is a high precision, successive approximation analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates at 16-bit resolution. It utilizes an innovative SAR architecture that enables it to perform conversions at a high-speed rate of up to 500 kilosamples per second (ksps). Additionally, it operates at a low-power consumption level of only 2 milliwatts (mW), making it ideal for low-power applications. This ADC also comes equipped with a variety of features such as an internal reference, simultaneous sampling, and multiple input channels.
The AD7687BRMZ boasts impressive accuracy and precision with a maximum integral nonlinearity (INL) error of only +/- 1 LSB and no missing codes. Moreover, it has excellent AC performance, with a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 89 dB at 100 kHz and a total harmonic distortion (THD) of -96 dB. The device is also designed with a flexible serial interface that supports various communication protocols, including SPI, I2C, and microcontroller compatible two-wire interface (TWI). Its compact size, measuring only 3mm x 3mm, makes it ideal for space-constrained applications
