Description
The Microchip KSZ8081RNAIA-TR is a single-port, 10/100 Ethernet physical layer transceiver (PHY) that is designed to reduce power consumption while maintaining high-performance levels. This PHY is equipped with the MII (Media Independent Interface) and the RMII (Reduced Media Independent Interface) interfaces which allow for easy integration with various kinds of processors and microcontrollers.
The KSZ8081RNAIA-TR PHY supports auto-negotiation, which means that it is able to automatically detect the speed and duplex of the network and adjust accordingly. Additionally, it also has features such as Energy Detection, LinkMD, and Cable Diagnostic Testing that help to improve system reliability. With an ultra-small size and low power consumption, this PHY is ideal for use in a wide range of applications such as IP cameras, industrial automation systems, routers and switches, and many others
