Description
The Analog Devices LTC3630AMPMSE#PBF is a step-down DC/DC converter. It can operate with an input voltage ranging from 2.5V to 20V and can provide a regulated output voltage anywhere between 0.6V and 18V. It features a maximum output current of 5A and an adjustable switching frequency ranging from 200kHz to 3MHz.
This converter is designed to offer high efficiency with its low RDS(ON) external MOSFETs and synchronous rectification. It also incorporates a number of protection features such as short-circuit protection, over-temperature protection and automatic thermal shutdown. In addition, the converter includes a programmable soft-start function to reduce inrush current and prevent input voltage disturbances, as well as a power-good output that signals when the output is within its error limits. The LTC3630AMPMSE#PBF is housed in a 16-pin MSOP package and is ideally suited for use in a range of industrial and automotive applications
