Description
The Linear LTM8063EY#PBF is a high efficiency, 2A step-down DC/DC converter that operates over an input voltage range of 2.8V to 36V. The device features a synchronous topology, which allows for efficiency up to 90%. The LTM8063 features a low profile 6.25mm x 6.25mm x 2.22mm LGA package, which is ideal for space constrained applications. The operating frequency is adjustable between 200kHz and 2.2MHz, which allows for optimization between efficiency and solution size.
The LTM8063 includes a variety of protection features, including over-voltage and over-current protection, as well as over-temperature protection. The device also features a pulse-skipping mode for light load efficiency, as well as a power good indicator for output voltage monitoring. The LTM8063 is available in both a standard and high temperature grade version, with operating temperature ranges of -40°C to 125°C and -40°C to 150°C, respectively.
