Description
The Analog Devices LTC2862AIDD-1#TRPBF is a high-speed, low-power, galvanically isolated differential bus transceiver designed to operate over an extended temperature range of -40° to 125°C. It can be used in a wide range of communication applications, including RS485, RS422, and Multipoint RS485, and is particularly ideal for battery-powered and isolated systems. This device has an ultralow current draw of 600μA, making it suitable for applications where power consumption is a critical concern. The LTC2862AIDD-1#TRPBF also features robust electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection of up to ±15kV HBM, ±8kV IEC 61000-4-2, and ±15kV Air-Gap Discharge.

This device has a built-in isolation transformer, which provides complete galvanic isolation between both sides of the interface. The LTC2862AIDD-1#TRPBF also includes a thermal shutdown feature that prevents the device from overheating and damaging the system. The device comes in a low profile 8-lead DFN package, making it easy to integrate into various cable and board-level applications
