Description
The Texas Instruments DP83848TSQ/NOPB is a single-port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet PHY transceiver with robust performance and power consumption characteristics designed for automotive and industrial applications. It uses analog front-end (AFE) technology that eliminates the need for external termination resistors, thus reducing system costs.
The device integrates auto-MDIX for automatic detection and correction of reversed polarity and uses low-power consumption to ensure efficient operation. It incorporates a loopback mode for local testing and allows the host processor to monitor the link status through LED indicators. The DP83848TSQ/NOPB also has a configurable voltage regulator and input/output voltage range, making it suitable for use with a range of system voltages. It also comes in a compact 48-pin thin quad flat pack (TQFP) package, making it easy to mount on the printed circuit board
