The Texas Instruments SN74HC193N is a 4-bit synchronous binary up/down counter that operates at a clock frequency of up to 30MHz. It has two control inputs, namely the up/down (UD) and enable (EN) input pins, which allow the selection of counting up or down and the enablement or disabling of the counter. The device has four distinct outputs labeled QA, QB, QC, and QD, which display the current count of the device.
