Description
The Texas Instruments TMP100NA/3K is a digital temperature sensor that can operate with an accuracy of up to ±1°C over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It provides an I2C interface that can be easily connected to a microcontroller for temperature measurements. This sensor is designed for low power consumption, requiring only 2.7V to 5.5V supply voltage. It is enclosed in a small SOT-23 package that can be easily integrated onto a board.
The TMP100NA/3K has a one-shot mode and a shutdown mode to minimize power consumption. The one-shot mode enables the user to take temperature measurements on-demand, while the shutdown mode puts the sensor in low power mode when not in use. Additionally, the sensor has a low power alert feature that can generate an interrupt when the temperature exceeds a programmed threshold. This digital temperature sensor is ideal for use in various applications such as medical devices, mobile devices, and battery-powered applications where low power and accurate temperature sensing are critical
