Description
The Analog Devices MAX31826MUA+T is a high-accuracy and high-resolution thermocouple-to-digital converter. It is designed to interface thermocouples with microcontrollers, controllers, and processors for temperature measurement and control applications. The MAX31826MUA+T features a 16-bit ADC with a resolution of 0.0078°C, which enables high-precision temperature measurements and thermocouple linearization. It supports eight different types of thermocouples, including J, K, N, R, S, T, E, and B.
The MAX31826MUA+T also includes an integrated cold-junction compensation sensor, which measures the ambient temperature and compensates the thermocouple measurement accordingly. It features an SPI interface for easy communication with the host device and can operate in 3-wire or 4-wire configurations. In addition, it has a built-in fault detection mechanism that can detect open and short circuits in the thermocouple leads. Overall, the Analog Devices MAX31826MUA+T is an excellent solution for precision temperature measurement and control in industrial, automotive, and healthcare applications
