Description
The Analog Devices AD7417ARZ is a highly accurate and compact digital temperature sensor. It is capable of measuring temperatures ranging from -40°C to +125°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C. It operates on a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply and draws very low current, making it particularly suited for battery-powered applications. The device features a 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that converts the temperature reading into a digital value that can be read through the onboard I2C interface. Furthermore, the AD7417ARZ provides a selectable shutdown mode for power conservation and has an ALERT pin that is configurable as either a temperature monitoring output or as an interrupt output.
