Description
The ON Semiconductor FODM2701 is a high-speed, optically isolated, dual-channel gate driver that is designed to drive MOSFETs and IGBTs in high-power applications. The device features a maximum switching frequency of 1.5 MHz and can handle peak output currents up to 4 A per channel, making it ideal for use in high-frequency switching power supplies, motor control systems, and other applications requiring high-speed, high-current switching.
The FODM2701 utilizes ON Semiconductor's proprietary Integrated Optically Coupled MOSFET (IOCM) technology, which provides superior isolation performance while maintaining high signal integrity and noise immunity. The device also includes a number of advanced protection features, including independent overcurrent sensing and fault status feedback, as well as an under-voltage lockout circuit to prevent damage from supply voltage fluctuations.
