Description
The Texas Instruments TPS53513RVER is a high-performance synchronous step-down converter designed to deliver high efficiency and low quiescent current. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and provides an adjustable output voltage range from 0.54V to 5.5V. The converter uses TI's D-CAP3TM control architecture to provide fast transient response and stable operation.
The TPS53513RVER uses a smart current sensing technique to provide accurate current limit and hiccup mode over-current protection. The device also has programmable soft-start and voltage tracking features. Additionally, the TPS53513RVER has a power-good indicator to signal the system when the output voltage is in regulation, and thermal shutdown and UVLO protection to ensure safe and reliable operation. The device is available in a small 24-pin VQFN package and is ideal for powering microprocessors, ASICs, and FPGAs in telecom, networking, and industrial applications
