Description
Infineon BTS5210LAUMA1 is a smart, high-side power switch in a small QFN package with a PMOS power transistor and a CMOS logic circuitry. The device is designed for switching resistive and inductive loads like bulbs, motors, relays, and solenoids in automotive applications. The smart power switch has an on-state resistance of 56 mΩ, capable of handling a maximum continuous current of 13 A. It can withstand up to 40 V bus voltage during load dump conditions and protects against short-circuit, over-temperature, and over-voltage conditions.
The device uses an advanced PWM circuitry to control the output current and reduce the power dissipation during operation.
