Description
The Maxim MAX8860EUA33 is a highly integrated power management integrated circuit (IC) that is designed to provide a low-dropout regulator (LDO) solution for applications that demand ultra-low dropout voltage. This device offers excellent load and line regulation, a low output noise level, and a high peak current capability, making it ideal for use in portable devices and other low-power applications. With an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V, this IC delivers a fixed output voltage of 3.3V with a maximum output current of up to 1A.
This LDO features a unique, adaptive compensation scheme that maintains stability over a wide range of input and output voltages. It employs an internal thermal shutdown feature that helps prevent damage to the device in the event of an over-temperature condition.
