Description
The Linear LTM4620AIY#PBF is a DC-DC regulator that features an input voltage range of 4.5 V to 20 V and output voltage range of 0.8 V to 5 V. The regulator operates with a switching frequency of up to 1.5 MHz, making it ideal for applications requiring a high level of efficiency, fast response time, and low noise operation. The device is housed in a compact 15 mm x 15 mm BGA package and incorporates a high efficiency synchronous step-down topology with integrated power MOSFETs.
The Linear LTM4620AIY#PBF is capable of delivering up to 13 A of continuous output current under typical operating conditions at an ambient temperature of 25°C without the need for additional heat sinks. It features an adjustable soft-start time for controlling the inrush current and provides output overvoltage and overcurrent protection, enhancing the safety and reliability of the system. With its excellent thermal performance and compact design, the regulator can be easily integrated into space-constrained applications such as high-performance computing systems, networking equipment, industrial control systems, and telecommunications infrastructure
