Description
The Texas Instruments CD74HC4053E is a triple 2-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer that uses high-speed silicon gate CMOS technology. It has three independent digital control inputs that select one of two pairs of switch elements for each of the three circuits. The switch elements have extremely low on-state resistance and minimal leakage current, resulting in a high degree of linearity and low propagation delay.
This device operates at a supply voltage of 2V to 6V, making it suitable for use in battery-powered applications. It has a maximum quiescent current of 4μA, which makes it ideal for low-power applications such as data acquisition, audio processing, and communications systems. Additionally, the CD74HC4053E has a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and comes in a small SOIC-16 package, making it an excellent choice for high-density board layouts
