Description
The Texas Instruments SN74HC541DWR is a high-speed octal buffer/line driver integrated circuit (IC) with a 3-state output. It is designed to provide a buffer between a high-impedance input signal and a low-impedance output signal, making it ideal for use in driving capacitive or low-impedance loads.
The device features eight input/output buffer circuits, each with 3-state control. Each buffer has an active low-enable input (OE) that enables the 3-state outputs when it is set to low. The inputs are capable of accepting both TTL and CMOS logic levels, and the outputs have a maximum sink current of 25mA, making it suitable for driving LEDs and other low-power loads. The device operates with a 2-6V supply voltage and has a maximum propagation delay of 18ns, making it ideal for use in high-speed applications. It also has a maximum static power consumption of 4uA, ensuring low power consumption when not in use. This versatile device is available in a tiny surface-mount package (SOIC-20) and can operate over a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
