NXP PESD12VL2BT is a surface mount, unidirectional TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) diode designed to offer ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection for sensitive electronics in high-speed signal lines. It is specifically designed for data transfer rates up to 10 Gbits/s and is compliant with all relevant industry standards such as IEC 61000-4-2 and IEC 61000-4-5.
The PESD12VL2BT offers a low dynamic resistance of just 0.5 Ω, allowing for fast response times and low clamping voltages to ensure the protection of sensitive electronic devices. It has a 13V (minimum) breakdown voltage and a peak pulse power of 20W, making it ideal for use in applications that require robust ESD protection such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other consumer electronics. The device is also RoHS compliant and can withstand a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C for optimal reliability and durability
