Description
The Texas Instruments LP3963ES-3.3/NOPB is a high performance, low dropout linear voltage regulator. It is designed to provide stable and accurate DC voltage output at a rated load current of 3A. The regulator is suitable for a wide range of applications that require a low dropout, high efficiency and low quiescent current voltage source. The device uses advanced BiCMOS process technology to achieve a very low dropout voltage of 340mV at the rated load current of 3A. This ensures that the device is able to maintain a stable output voltage even when the input voltage is close to or below the set output voltage. The ultra-low quiescent current of 1.2mA ensures that the device is highly efficient and consumes minimal power when idle.
The LP3963ES-3.3/NOPB features a built-in thermal shutdown protection circuit that monitors the device temperature and shuts down the regulator to prevent damage when the temperature exceeds the safe operating range. The device also includes overcurrent and reverse polarity protection circuits that help to protect it from damage due to electrical faults. The device is housed in a compact TO-263 package that ensures heat dissipation and allows easy integration into a wide range of applications. The device also features an adjustable output voltage that can be set between 1.25V and 7V, making it suitable for a wide range of applications that require a regulated voltage source
