Description
The ON Semiconductor MM74HC373WM is a high-speed octal transparent latch consisting of eight D-type flip-flops with a common enable (E) input and a common master reset (MR) input. This device operates with a supply voltage of 2V to 6V and can switch at a maximum frequency of 92 MHz. The transparent latches in this device allow data to be stored at the inputs and transferred to the outputs upon the occurrence of a HIGH-level transition on the clock (CP) input. The data transfer is also enabled by the active LOW enable (E) input. The common master reset (MR) input clears all eight flip-flops to their default state when activated.
The MM74HC373WM has a low input current of maximum 1μA, making it ideal for low-power applications. Its tri-state outputs facilitate the use of bus-organized systems and reduce the amount of bus capacitance, thus saving power. The octal transparent latch is packaged in a small-outline integrated circuit (SOIC) package, saving space on the printed circuit board.
