Description
Texas Instruments PGA116AIPWR is a low-noise, precision programmable gain amplifier (PGA) that operates on a single power supply with a voltage range of 2.7V to 12V. This device features a high gain accuracy of 0.05% and low offset voltage of 24μV, making it suitable for applications where precision amplification is required, such as instrumentation and measurement equipment, medical instrumentation, and audio amplification.
The gain of the PGA116AIPWR can be set from 1 to 1000 using external resistors, and the device also features a gain temperature coefficient of 25ppm/°C, which ensures accurate gain control over temperature changes. The amplifier has a bandwidth of 3MHz and can handle input signals up to ±10V. Other features of this device include a shutdown mode that reduces power consumption to less than 1μA, a power-on-reset function that ensures stable operation, and a small form factor with a 16-pin TSSOP package
