Description
The Lite-On LTV847 is an optocoupler designed to isolate electrical signals between different components of an electronic system. It features four optically coupled channels that allow for bidirectional signal transmission. The device is equipped with an LED and a photodetector, which are separated by an insulating layer, providing isolation between input and output circuits. The input photodiodes receive a signal through an LED driving circuit, which enables the transmission of digital or analog signals. The output phototransistor responds to the input signal, generating an output signal that is proportional to the input signal.
This optocoupler is suitable for use in a broad range of applications, such as in telecommunications, industrial control systems, and power supplies. It is highly reliable and has a long operating life, thanks to its high isolation voltage of 5000 Vrms and low power consumption. Additionally, the device is designed to operate within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it ideal for use in harsh environments. Its small size and low cost make this optocoupler an attractive choice for designers looking to achieve high levels of isolation between different sections of their electronic systems
