Description
The Microchip RN131C/RM is a compact Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module designed for easy implementation into wireless communication applications. At only 12.5 x 19.5 mm in size, it boasts a low power consumption of 4.5mA peak current, making it ideal for battery-powered applications.
The module operates on the powerful 32-bit microprocessor and includes a wide range of features such as programmable IO pins, Byte-Level Security, and over-the-air firmware updates. The module is pre-programmed with the Microchip SmartConnect stack and profile, as well as standard Bluetooth profiles such as Serial Port Profile (SPP) and Human Interface Device (HID). The RN131C/RM can be quickly integrated into an existing system through the serial interface, with support for antenna and external battery connection.
