Description
Avago HCPL-2231-000E is a single channel, high-speed optocoupler device that comprises of an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to a high-speed integrated circuit detector containing a 10Mbps differential output. The device is housed in an industry-standard, 8-pin DIP package and offers insulation ratings up to 10 kV/ms in the operational temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The optocoupler device offers reliable and efficient isolation of high voltage circuits from low voltage controllers, thus offering protection from electrical interference and improved signal integrity. The integrated circuit detector is designed to provide high immunity to external magnetic fields and electrical transients, thereby ensuring optimal performance in applications such as motor control, power switching, and data communication systems. The high-speed device also offers low power consumption and low input current, making it ideal for a range of industrial and consumer applications
