Microchip MCP73831T-2ACI/OT is a small and efficient battery management IC that can be used in portable electronic devices. This IC is designed to provide a fast and reliable charge to single cell Li-Ion and Li-Polymer batteries. The MCP73831T-2ACI/OT includes two different types of charging modes: constant current and constant voltage. The constant current mode can be adjusted to 250mA, 500mA, or 1000mA depending on the battery capacity. The constant voltage mode has an accuracy of ±0.5% and can be set up to 4.2V per cell. The input voltage range is 3.75V to 6V, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
