Description
The Texas Instruments LM337T is a three-terminal adjustable negative voltage regulator used to produce and regulate negative voltages. The LM337T has an adjustable output voltage range from -1.2V to -37V and can provide an output current up to 1.5A. It has internal current limiting and thermal shutdown features which protect the device from overheating and damage.
The LM337T requires a minimum input voltage of 3V higher than the output voltage, but can operate up to a maximum input voltage of 40V. It has a low dropout voltage and provides a stable output voltage even under varying input voltage conditions. The LM337T is available in a TO-220 package which makes it easy to mount on a heatsink for better thermal management. Its ease of use, high efficiency and robustness make it an ideal choice for a range of applications such as battery chargers, power supplies and audio amplifiers
