Description
The Analog Devices HMC540SLP3E is a high-reliability, broadband, and surface-mountable RF amplifier that operates in the range of DC to 7 GHz. It is designed with GaAs pHEMT technology that ensures exceptional low noise figure (NF) and high linearity performance for various aerospace, defense, and test and measurement applications. The single-stage amplifier circuitry is combined with a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) that features an active bias that eliminates the need for a negative supply voltage. The HMC540SLP3E also incorporates integrated on-chip ESD protection for enhanced reliability and robustness. The device has a maximum gain of 20 dB, a maximum output power of +19 dBm, and a low noise figure of 1.3 dB at 2 GHz.
The HMC540SLP3E operates over a wide temperature range from -55°C to +85°C and can withstand high levels of input power without damage. The device features a small footprint of 3 mm x 3 mm x 0.75 mm, making it ideal for applications where space is limited.
