Description
The Toshiba TLP2366 is an optocoupler or opto-isolator device that consists of an infrared emitting diode (IRLED) and a high-speed photo detector that is assembled in a surface-mount technology (SMT) package. The device provides high isolation voltage (5000Vrms) between its input and output, making it ideal for use in applications that require galvanic isolation such as power supplies, motor drives, and industrial control systems. The TLP2366 also offers excellent performance characteristics including high-speed switching (maximum propagation delay time of 60ns) and high collector-emitter breakdown voltage (BVCEO) of 70V.
The device operates on a maximum forward current of 50mA and has a photodetector sensitivity of 0.1 to 1.0mW/cm2 at a wavelength of 850nm. The TLP2366 optocoupler is designed to work in a wide temperature range (-55°C to 125°C) and comes in a small SMT package that measures 4.4mm x 7.4mm x 3.9mm, saving valuable board space. With its high isolation voltage, fast switching time and small form-factor, the Toshiba TLP2366 offers designers an ideal solution for high-speed signal transmission in various applications
