Description
The Samtec IPD1-05-D is a series of low profile, compression, elevated contact connectors. The connector has a pitch of 1.27mm and is composed of a phosphor bronze contact and an insulator material made of high temperature thermoplastic. This connector is designed to provide a secure connection to PCBs and flex circuits and is commonly used in high-speed data transmission applications.
The IPD1-05-D features a unique double beam design, which provides a reliable and stable connection to the mating surface. The connector can accommodate PCB thicknesses up to 1.6mm and has a current rating of 1A per contact. The connector also has a low mating and unmating force, which reduces the risk of damage to the PCB and flex circuit during connection and disconnection.
