Description
The Maxim MAX16053AUT+T is a highly efficient, low quiescent current, power-supply-voltage supervisory circuit that can be used to monitor up to four different power supply voltages (VCC, VDDQ, 3.3V, and 5V). It employs an internal voltage reference with programmable monitoring levels and a hysteresis option for each power supply voltage, which can be set using external resistors. This makes it possible to closely monitor power supply levels and detect undervoltage and overvoltage conditions, as well as power failure events, in a highly accurate and reliable manner. The MAX16053AUT+T also features a manual reset input, which allows the power-on-reset (POR) output to be enabled or disabled at any time by an external signal.
The device operates from a single 1.5V to 5.5V power supply, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of applications, including personal computers, servers, medical equipment, and industrial control systems. It is available in a space-saving 10-pin micro-DFN package and is rated for operation over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
