Description
The Analog Devices LTM8056IY#PBF is a high efficiency DC/DC uModule regulator that is designed for point-of-load (POL) regulation. This device integrates a switching regulator controller, power switches, inductors, and capacitors in a compact, surface-mount package that measures only 15mm x 15mm x 5.01mm. With its efficiency exceeding 90%, this device is ideal for applications where power dissipation is a concern. The LTM8056IY#PBF also features adjustable output voltage regulation from 0.6V to 5V, and can deliver up to 2.5A of output current. This device is designed to operate over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
To achieve high efficiency, the LTM8056IY#PBF uses a synchronous switching architecture with a fixed frequency of 1.2MHz.
