Description
The Maxim MAX17609ATC+ is a high-efficiency, 36V, 2A synchronous step-down DC-DC converter in a compact, thermally enhanced 12-pin TQFN package. The device supports input voltages from 4V to 36V and provides adjustable output voltages ranging from 0.8V to VIN. It operates at a fixed frequency of 500kHz and offers stable current limit protection, thermal shutdown, and programmable soft-start. The device features an internal compensation network, which eliminates the need for external compensation components. The MAX17609ATC+ also employs a proprietary, pulse-skipping scheme to achieve high efficiency across the entire load range, which is particularly useful for battery-powered applications.
