Description
The Analog Devices MAX3232EUE+T is a low-power, RS-232 transceiver designed for industrial and consumer applications. It operates from a single 3.3V supply and delivers a full-duplex RS-232 interface while consuming only 1µA of shutdown current. The device operates at a data rate of up to 230kbps, making it suitable for high-speed communication protocols such as UART, SPI, or I²C. The MAX3232EUE+T is housed in a 16-pin TSSOP package, which provides a small footprint and easy assembly on a PCB.
The transceiver features integrated ESD protection up to ±15kV on all RS-232 pins, which makes it more robust and reliable in harsh environments.
