Description
The National Semiconductor LM385M-1.2/NOPB is a precision voltage reference that is designed to offer a fixed output voltage of 1.2V. This voltage reference has a low voltage drift and a low output impedance, which makes it an ideal option for use in a variety of electronic circuits. It comes in a miniature 8-pin SOIC package that is easy to mount on a printed circuit board. The LM385M-1.2/NOPB operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and can handle a maximum input voltage of 5V. It draws a maximum supply current of 15µA and has a very low dropout voltage of 100mV.
This voltage reference is constructed using a bandgap voltage reference circuit that ensures a high degree of accuracy and stability in its output voltage. It has a very low temperature coefficient of 50ppm/°C, which means that the output voltage remains stable as temperature changes. The LM385M-1.2/NOPB is widely used in precision analog circuits such as ADCs, DACs, and operational amplifiers, where a stable and accurate voltage reference is required. Its miniature package size and low power consumption make it ideal for use in battery-operated devices
