Description
Texas Instruments AM26LV31IDR is a quad line receiver designed to operate over a voltage range of -7V to 12V. This receiver is designed to interface between data terminal equipment and data communication equipment which utilizes balanced signaling. The device is optimized for high-speed data transmission, with each receiver input having hysteresis to improve noise immunity and an output enable circuit that provides a fail-safe output for an unconnected receiver input. The AM26LV31IDR can also operate over a wide temperature range, with the ability to handle temperatures between -40°C and +85°C.
The device is capable of driving long cables and has a differential input and output which provides inherent noise rejection and common-mode signal rejection. The receiver’s input has a differential stage with a resistor-capacitor network to reduce input noise. The output stage of the AM26LV31IDR is designed with low impedance to drive long cables or other loads. The device also has TTL compatible inputs, allowing the device to interface with logic devices. The AM26LV31IDR is housed in a small 16-pin SOIC package, providing designers with a small footprint while still achieving high-speed data transmission and noise immunity. Overall, the Texas Instruments AM26LV31IDR is a highly versatile quad line receiver ideal for balanced signaling applications that require high-speed data transmission and a small footprint
