Description
The Texas Instruments CD4029BM96 is a CMOS presettable up/down counter IC that comes in a 16-pin SOIC package. It is capable of counting up or down, depending on the logic level of the up/down input, and can be preset to any number through its parallel input pins. The counting direction is shown through the carry/borrow output and the current count is displayed through the Q0 to Q3 outputs.
