Description
                        The NXP BT137-600E is a high-performance bidirectional Triac designed to control AC power. As a member of the ST’s Snubberless™ and high-temperature triac series, it is perfectly suited for AC loads which require high performance like home appliances, light dimmers, and motor control.
This triac's turn-on voltage is very low for a 600 VAC rated device, typically 1.3 V, which reduces power losses and makes it suitable for low voltage sensing applications. Its high repetitive peak off-state voltage allows it to handle up to 600 volts, making it suitable for use in a wide range of industrial and consumer electronics applications. The BT137-600E has a maximum current of 12 A and an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 150 °C. This Triac is available in TO-220AB packaging that enables high power handling capabilities with ease of assembly
