Description
The Vishay TSAL6200 is an infrared emitting diode (IR LED) that is designed for high-intensity output in both continuous and pulsed mode. When voltage is applied to the LED, it emits infrared radiation at a wavelength of 940nm, making it ideal for use in applications where remote control or sensing is required. With a radiant intensity of up to 85mW/sr at a forward current of 100mA, the TSAL6200 is one of the most powerful IR LEDs in the Vishay product line.
The package of the TSAL6200 is a standard 5mm epoxy lens, which allows for easy integration into various devices. The LED is also made with a transfer-molded epoxy package, which provides excellent protection from environmental factors like dust, humidity, and temperature changes. Additionally, the TSAL6200 offers a built-in lens for optimizing the radiation pattern and viewing angle. This makes it ideal for applications such as optical switches, long-range IR remote control, and free air transmission systems
