Description
The Texas Instruments TPD12S016RKTR is a high-performance ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) suppressor device designed specifically for the protection of HDMI, USB, and DisplayPort interfaces. This device is a tiny 3.5x2.9mm package containing two pairs of TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) diodes and two pairs of ESD suppression diodes. The device offers excellent ESD protection of up to 8 kV contact discharge and 15 kV air discharge, ensuring the safe handling of high-speed data transmission in demanding industrial and automotive applications.
With a low capacitance of less than 2 pF per channel, the TPD12S016RKTR suppressor provides superior signal integrity and minimal signal distortion. The device supports data transmission rates up to 8 Gbps for HDMI and DisplayPort signals and up to 480 Mbps for USB signals, effectively safeguarding high-speed data transmissions. The TPD12S016RKTR suppressor device is RoHS compliant and features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for use in many industrial and automotive applications and ensuring long-term reliability and stability
