Description
The TPS2115APWR also features three programmable options- the power source prioritization, fault mode, and overcurrent limit- which can be configured through the two integrated selector pins. The power source prioritization option allows the selection of either the higher voltage or the lower voltage input as the primary power source, depending on the application. The fault mode option can detect and signal if any overvoltage, under-voltage, reverse polarity, or overcurrent fault conditions occur during operations. The overcurrent limit option sets the maximum load current that the device can support and offers short circuit protection. These features make the TPS2115APWR an ideal choice for portable devices such as smartphones, tablets, and portable media players, where efficiency, reliability, and space-saving are critical factors
