Description
The Fairchild 74HC244N is a high-speed CMOS logic buffer driver IC that contains eight non-inverting 3-state buffers. This IC is designed specifically to enhance the performance in a 3-state control bus composed of D-type latches or Flip-Flops by providing non-inverted data and inverted data in its output. The device can operate with a voltage supply ranging from 2 volts to 6 volts, making it ideal for use in low-voltage microcontrollers and digital circuits.
The 74HC244N has a symmetrical output impedance and is capable of driving high capacitive loads with high-speed signals while maintaining excellent signal integrity. It also has a built-in protection circuitry, which protects the device from damage due to electrostatic discharge (ESD) and latch-up. The device features a transition time of less than 8 ns, propagation delay of 10 ns, and a maximum output current of 35 mA, making it ideal for use in digital systems requiring high speed and high output drive capabilities
